  The new security system will comprise of a mix of CCTV, automatic access control (AACS) and video intercoms at listed sites. There is a requirement for the AACS to be networked back to LFB’s HQ at Union St, but the system must have the ability to be accessed elsewhere during Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery incident. The CCTV, while not proactively monitored, must be accessible to authorised persons within LFB irrespective of their location. Intercoms will be deployed on an as and when required basis. All stations and nominated buildings will have CCTV and AACS installed. Video intercom systems will be installed on an as and when required basis.
