Abstract
For 10 investigators to undertake training in data recovery and analysis to enable them to perform their role effectively. This course is designed for individuals who are setting out in the field of forensic computing or network investigation, or persons concerned in the investigation and prosecution of offences of a Digital & Cyber Crime nature. The programme will equip investigators, prosecutors and support staff with the core skills necessary to undertake, investigate and prosecute offences involving a Digital & Cyber Crime element. This course contains both theory and practical exercises and assessments. The Good Practice Guide for Managers of Hi-Tech Crime Units recommends this course should be undertaken by high-tech crime investigators in their first six months in post. Computers and digital media are encountered in many criminal investigations, and they need to be examined to the highest evidential standards. This course will ensure Digital Forensic investigators will gain the core skills they need to recovery and analysis digital evidence. Course duration - 2 weeks.Processed by SSCL
