Services in Powys support young people up to the age of 25, however support staff often feel that young people require additional intervention to support significant well-being changes in their lives. In most areas of Wales, children and young people experiencing distress with mental health, emotional wellbeing and behavioural issues are waiting too long to get help they need and are being ‘bounced’ between services. Where funding allows, the Framework aims to address the need for additional interventions, therapies, activities, and assessments in Powys to support babies, children, young people and their families, as well as professionals, to be able to live emotionally healthy lives.
This meet the buyer event will explain the need for the support services framework to support babies, children, young people and their families in Powys. We will discuss the suppliers we are looking to apply, the tender process and key dates. There will be the opportunity for a question and answer session.
