Hywel Dda University Health Board (HDUHB) are looking to award a contract to continue the delivery of an insourced solution for Obstetric & Non-Obstetric Ultrasound Examinations, permissible under the Direct Award Process Two (2) of Provider Selection Regime (PSR) Wales. The Health Board have been allocated funding to deliver the upon Welsh Government (WG) targets with regards to referral to treatment times (RTT) and reducing waiting list initiatives (WLI).
The Health Board are intending to award this contract to the existing provider following Direct Award Process Two (2).
The services will be provided between the 1st of December 2025 and the 31st of March 2026 with the option to extend to the 31st of March 2027.

For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015/Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight on Tuesday the 7th of October 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR Wales.

- The existing provider is satisfying the current contract, and the Health Board has high confidence they will likely satisfy the new contract,
- The scope of the contract remains unchanged.
