Abstract

To ensure the continued reliability and effectiveness of this equipment, Social Care Wales requires a fully managed maintenance and support service that includes planned preventative maintenance, reactive fault response and repair services. 2 Contract Details

2.1 Title

Provision of Maintenance and Support Services for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) System

2.2 Description of the goods or services required

The contract will help reduce the risk of unplanned outages, extend the operational life of the UPS system and provide assurance that power protection remains available to support the organisation's operational and digital services.

2.4 Total quantity or scope of tender

There is a budget of £20,000 (inclusive of any applicable VAT) has been agreed for this quote. This budget will cover the annual service requirements over the full potential contract term of 5 years, including the supply and replacement of one capacitor and one battery.

The contract will run initially from 1 November 2026 – 31 October 2029 with a possibility of being extended for a further 24 months up until 31 October 2031, up to a total period of 5 years.
