Description of the goods or services required
1. Background
The Black Mountains Land Use Partnership (BMLUP) brings together farmers, landowners, graziers, and statutory bodies to deliver ambitious, landscape-scale nature recovery. Across peatland fringe, bracken slopes, and open hill ground, the Partnership is shifting land management toward approaches that restore ecology while supporting rural livelihoods.
As part of the National Nature Fund (NNF5) programme, BMLUP seeks communications and branding support that celebrates this work, including a distinctive new emphasis on storytelling and brand development for conservation-grazing animal products produced on the Black Mountains.
Applicants may apply for:
Communications Delivery (£15,000)
Brand Development (£15,000)
Or both commissions together
2. Commission Purpose
This commission will help BMLUP tell the story of a living, working upland landscape, one where regenerative cattle grazing plays a vital ecological role.
The Brand Development commission will include a central strand focused on:
Developing a market-facing identity and narrative for conservation-grazed meat from the Black Mountains
Positioning this meat as a nature-positive, culturally rooted, high-welfare product that supports habitat recovery
Creating a story framework, visuals, and language that farmers and graziers can use to promote their work and their produce
