Minimum standards and qualification required
Tenderers will be required to:
Demonstrate relevant experience of successfully delivering comparable solar photovoltaic (PV) design and build projects, including projects of a similar scale and complexity.
Provide details of relevant previous contracts, including client references, project value, capacity installed and scope of works undertaken.
Demonstrate appropriate technical competence and suitably qualified and experienced personnel to undertake the design, construction, commissioning and handover of the solar PV installation.
Hold, or be able to obtain prior to commencement of the works, appropriate levels of public liability and employers' liability insurance as specified in the tender documents.
Demonstrate appropriate financial capacity to undertake and complete the contract.
Demonstrate appropriate health and safety competence and membership of a recognised Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) scheme, or demonstrably equivalent arrangements.
Comply with all applicable statutory, regulatory and technical requirements relevant to the design and construction of the solar PV installation.
Confirm that they are not subject to any applicable mandatory or discretionary exclusion grounds under the Procurement Act 2023.
