Fabrication and Delivery of Melter Platform Steel Structure

Description of the goods or services required

Fabrication and delivery of Melter platform steel structure for the Shotton Manufacturing facility at Deeside.

The scope of the above includes:

• Creation of fabrication drawings and shop detail drawings including but not limited to cutting lists, welding details, connection arrangements, bolt hole locations, and part numbering systems and erection drawings from the included design drawings

• Supply, fabrication, packaging and delivery of the steel members. Proper marking, packaging and protection of fabricated components for transport, delivery to the designated site or laydown area, according to the agreed delivery schedule

• Painting of the structural steel in compliance with the painting specification

•Provision of inspection and test reports

• Supply of anchors, bolts and washers as required to assemble the steel structure.

The installation of the fabricated steel will be completed by others.

1) Completion and Signage of Knauf Insulation Non -Disclosure Agreement (NDA) will be required prior to receiving a full Tender Package. Non acceptance, delay or alteration of the NDA may disqualify your organisation from the procurement process.

2) Indicative value of the tender package will be made available upon supplier selection.

3) Completed and Signed NDA's should be sent to email address: Shottontender@knaufinsulation.com. A separate link will then be provided to access our systems where the entire tender pack will be made available.
