Abstract

Menter Môn has secured funding through the Welsh Marine and Fisheries Scheme (WMFS) to establish the North Wales Marine & Fisheries Network. The project aims to strengthen collaboration, knowledge sharing, skills development and resilience across the marine and fisheries sector in North Wales. The Network will bring together fisheries and aquaculture businesses, seafood processors, marine tourism operators, coastal communities, women, young people, new entrants and local supply chain businesses. The project will deliver: • Networking and knowledge-sharing activities • Sector-specific masterclasses • Study visits • Case studies • An online knowledge hub • A Steering Group to support strategic direction The project will run until 31 March 2027.
