Siemens Mobility Limited are looking to award a subcontract to support us with the delivery of:-

The South Wales Metro is Wales’ answer to London’s Tube network. The aim is to produce a modern., integrated, multi-modal transport system that delivers a tangible and transformative benefit to the communities it serves.

The project extends on the work undertaken on the Core Valley Lines (CVL) programme that modernised rail from the Cardiff area through to Treherbert, Aberdare, Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney. The Cardiff Crossrail aims to build on this project success and bring a tram network in that links Cardiff from East to West

Contractor is to undertake civil engineering design development and any required Ground Investigation and Topographical Surveys across the Crossrail project area to support the design.

The Contractor shall provide the Employer with civil engineering support, including but not limited to supplying a suitably competent Contractor’s Responsible Engineer - Civil Engineering (Design), to aid the development of the SML design works and ensuring design integration.

The Contractor shall be collaborative with the Siemens Civils CRE Construction to develop design efficiency improvements for the installation process.

In order to be considered for this opportunity the successful contractor will hold the following:

- RISQS accreditation in line with the works being undertaken

- have a proven track record in delivering projects of a similar nature on the UK rail infrastructure.
