Justification:
The University wishes to request an Urgent, Open procedure for it’s tender process to obtain quotes for a leasing agreement to undertake a major overhaul of existing end user IT Hardware. The University’s request for an urgent process is for the ability to be in a position to order the Equipment during the summer break to ensure that we are in the best position possible to replace existing equipment for start of new academic year. The summer within a HE institution is an ideal opportunity for major IT projects with students and staff on their summer breaks, if this process is delayed beyond the summer then it could have a negative effect on Student experience for the 2017/18 academic year, which starts in September.
