VI.3) Additional information
Gwynedd Council awards a Highways Rural Verge Maintenance Service. The Council has responsibility for ensuring that the Highways Rural Verge Maintenance is of a high standard and will wish to satisfy itself that the contracted service to be provided complies with all statutory requirements which are, or would otherwise have been, obligatory upon the Council or its employees.
The framework will be evaluated on a 75% price / 25% quality basis and will be established on a ranked basis. Please see the tender documentation for how the quality element is broken down further.
The framework will run for a period of 2 years but with an option to extend for a further 12 month period.
