Abstract

The University of South Wales is seeking a Supplier to supply Virtual Reality content for the School of Healthcare Sciences, with the first objective being a landing site (central repository), with a minimum of two environments, e.g. a hospital consultation/treatment area and a home environment, for launch in academic year 2023-2024, along with a minimum of two interprofessional learning scenarios, to be agreed through consultation, that will take place in these environments, for Autumn 2023. The activities must be suitable for use via: • extended reality technologies • Smartphone/tablet • Laptop • PC • in-situ use. The successful software should also have the capacity to evaluate performance, and provisions should be made for tracking engagement and usage with each exercise. The University expects that potential vendors will set out a proposal for consultation with University staff regarding the details of how their simulation could be incorporated into the village “map”/ environment.
