Abstract

Ser Lab is a Welsh Government Ser Cymru II funded project. The goal is to enhance infrastructure and widen access to functional genomics equipment at Swansea University and across Wales. Potential users of the equipment will be drawn from the Biomedical, Health and Life Science sectors across academia, NHS and industry; skills training and workforce development will also be supported by this platform. The Ser Lab project located in Swansea University’s Medical School and College of Science (Bioscience) is intended to provide a functional genomics platform for academic, NHS and industry users. The aim is to widen access to various omics and single cell analysis capabilities and support research, development and innovation across the Biomedical, Health and Life Science sectors. Equipment will be housed in the Institute of Life Science, building 1 on the Singleton Campus of Swansea University.
