Description:

This notice is to inform the market of a direct award to the supplier for the iBoss solution, which provides a cloud-based Secure Web Gateway for Web-filtering, which will be used for the Council’s entire corporate estate and parts of the education estate i.e. adult education centers and libraries, including infrastructure, but not schools. The VPN and current solution is required to reduce risk by always protecting agile workers whilst allowing staff to work securely from any location at any time, this requirement is essential for the Council's staff. This direct award is off the NPS-ICT-All-Wales IT Products and Services (ii) Framework Agreement (ITPS2) (NPS-ICT-0094-19) via the PCR2015.
