** FOR FULL DETAILS PLEASE REFER TO TENDER DOCUMENT ** We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and skilled specialist to design, manufacture, supply and installation of theatre auditorium seating systems. In summary, these include: • a retractable motorised system comprising two banks of 13 rows by 8 seats each (104 in total per bank), plus a permanent full width rearmost row with 20 seats. Overall, 228 seats over 14 rows (subject to further survey, design and structural loadings). • The rearmost row will remain usable when the system is retracted allowing access to this top row via our balcony. The front edge of this row will therefore require barrier rails. • The system should allow the system to lock in sections to allow us to offer different configurations. For example, the ability to utilise the first five rows while leaving the rest of the system stowed. • The system will be easy to retract with fold-down handrails and seats to allow quick retraction. The supply and installation of the seating must be complete in between 5 – 27 January 2026 due to our live programme commitments. we will expect the nominated specialist to be able to commence the necessary design works immediately.
