Total quantity or scope of tender
Annual call volumes for our out of hours emergency service in the last period were 850 calls with outbound calls to contractors and tenants totalling 2,350 minutes. For the purposes of this exercise please base your proposals on 1,000 annual inbound calls during the out of hours period and assume 3 calls per contact – one inbound call to report the emergency, one outbound call to our staff or a contractor to carry out a repair and one outbound call to advise the tenant of the action being taken.
The 24 hour community alarm service is currently offered to approximately 500 older and disabled tenants. This service operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year and enables tenants to get help when they raise the alarm in an emergency. Annual call volumes for community alarm services for the last 12 months were 6100.
Contractors will need to have the software capability to receive calls from the Tunstall equipment installed in the Sheltered Schemes to be able to connect to it and communicate with the individual tenant.
