Abstract

The Welsh Blood Service (WBS) covers South & West Wales. This specification sets out the requirements of the Welsh Blood Service for the Maintenance of Air Conditioning & Refrigeration System requirements of their facilities. Talbot Green Primarily office accommodation with laboratories, a large service yard area with garages and a general storage facility. This facility is the main site for the Welsh Blood Services and houses the senior management team of the Welsh Blood Services, the footprint of the buildings is 6,891m2, with car parking facilities and a lockable compound for the Welsh Blood Services vehicles. Unit 4 Llanelli Business Park Dafen The building is used primarily as a training area to accommodate Team staff with a garage area for WBS vehicles and a small Good Manufacturing Practice ( GMP ) store. Contract Requirements The contractor will be responsible for the delivery of the following services: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Statutory Compliance Emergency Corrective Maintenance Work 24/7 call outs (Re-active maintenance) The specification documents (South Wales) and supporting documentation provide the basis for the initial tendering process and will be used as the reference document for the subsequent contract award.
