Abstract

As part of the Period Poverty Initiative, Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council are undertaking a procurement exercise for the supply of sanitary products and dispensers for schools within the Authorities. Products • Menstrual sanitary towels – light / normal / heavy absorbencies • Tampons – Regular and Super absorbencies with cardboard applicator • Dispensers – Suppliers are asked to provide a quotation for the supply of product dispensers but are asked to note that the Authorities reserve the right not to purchase dispensers if they are cost prohibitive. The Authorities will contact bidders following receipt of their tenders to arrange for a sample of products to be sent for quality evaluation purposes. Details of the evaluation process are detailed within the evaluation methodology document.
