Description of the goods or services required

The works will include general site preparation, civil works, drainage, earthworks, walling, and landscaping as noted in the following sub headings for the six sites.

Eirias Bridge, Colwyn Bay

Excavation of stream bed and construction of a reinforced concrete scour apron covered with excavated natural material and excavation and removal of soil and rebuilding of two stone retaining walls

Hafod y Dre, Pentrefoelas

Repointing of culvert internal arch, removal of tree and excavation of stream bed and construction of reinforced concrete scour apron covered with natural material and construction of two mass concrete retaining walls with stone facing

Nant y Creau, Pentrefoelas

Repointing of culvert internal arch and abutments and installation of pre-filled rock rolls on both sides of the outlet.

Pont Plas Ucha, Llanddoged

Excavation of stream bed and construction of a reinforced concrete scour apron covered with natural material and construction of two mass concrete retaining walls at the culvert inlet and a concrete slab below a drain outlet.

Pont Newydd, Llangernyw

Excavation of stream bed and construction of reinforced concrete scour apron covered with natural material upstream of the culvert and installation of mass concrete below undermined retaining walls on both sides. Repair existing downstream rock armour wall.

Pont Taldrach, Llansannan

Repointing of culvert internal arch and taking down and rebuilding four wing walls.
