IRHOMS Inception and Final Evaluations

Description of the goods or services required

The Cardiff Centre for Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Human-Machine Systems (IROHMS), is based in Cardiff University across three partner schools, School of Computer Science and Informatics, School of Engineering and School of Psychology. The Centre draws on a vision of the world that is human-centric, interactive, interconnected, data-rich, knowledge-intensive and smart. Understanding human interactions with digital technologies informs innovation across many sectors of strategic economic importance for Wales, the national and international arena, to include high-value digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, aerospace, automotive applications (included connected autonomous vehicles). Such understanding is also very important for addressing societal challenges related to healthcare, aging and assisted living.

The IRHOMS Project is part funded by the ERDF (European Regional Development Fund). As part of this funding, the IRHOMS Project is required to undergo Inception and Final Evaluations. The Inception Evaluation will for the baseline against which progress will be assessed for the Final Evaluation.

The Inception Evaluation is anticipated to be from May 2020 to July 2020 and the Final Evaluation is anticipated to be from June 2022 to November 2022. The duration of the contract is anticipated be from May 2020 to November 2022.
