II.2.4) Description of the procurement
This contract award is for appointment as the Welsh Government’s Employer's Agent for the M4 CaN Docks Enabling Works. The Welsh Government intends to complete works to the Associated British Ports (“ABP”) Newport site to facilitate the construction of the M4 CaN. The works include three discrete elements: (i) marine refurbishment, alterations and construction works, (ii) new infrastructure and roads to support re-development of the site; and (iii) the alteration and construction of buildings. The appointed Employer's Agent team will take a lead role in helping deliver these works and will need to take on the Employer's Agent role across all three works elements.
