Tender for the appointment of a Principal Contractor for Improvements at Penyparc Flats, Trehafren, Newtown, Powys. Works to include external improvements to existing communal areas to address security and fire risk. Environmental improvement works, provision of dedicated bin and bike storage. Electrical works including installation of new emergency lighting, CCTV and Fire Alarm.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The minimum requirements of the tender are as follows:

- Constructionline Silver registration with work categories relevant to the subject matter of the contract.

- Safety Schemes in Procurement accredited or fully compliant with an equivalent scheme.

- Demonstrable experience of delivering contract(s) of a similar nature.

- Provide copies of full audited accounts, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, for the most recently completed financial year to be assessed as described within the tender documentation.

- Provide latest set of management accounts to cover the period from last published accounts to present

- Insurances are required as follows:

- Public & Product Liability Insurance - £5,000,000.

- Employers Liability Insurance - £5,000,000

- Acceptance of the JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2016 with Schedule of Amendments

- One operative on site will be required to have received non-licensable work, including Notifiable Non-licensed Work (NNLW) asbestos training. All other operatives will be required to have Asbestos Awareness training.
