Description of the goods or services required
Refurbishment works for the Senghennydd Court Block K student accommodation.
The nature of the proposed works relate to the internal refurbishment, repair and upgrade works to the 64 bed purpose built student accommodation block known as Senghennydd Court Block K.
The works are focused on building fabric and mechanical and electrical works throughout the block.
This is an internal refurbishment of student halls of residences, the works will include the following:
Replacement of kitchens, bedroom furniture, floor coverings and decorations
Associated M&E upgrades
The M&E upgrades associated with these works will be undertaken by sub-contractors which will be appointed by the Main Contractor. The sub-contractors nominated by the Main Contractor will be named in the Main Contractors tender submission. The Main Contractor will then be responsible for managing its nominated sub-contractors for the duration of the contract to deliver this work.

Site visits are a mandatory requirement and will take please on 5th/6th May 2022 - Full details are contained
in the ITT documents.
All tender costs and liabilities incurred by bidders shall be the sole responsibility of bidders.
The University reserves the right to award the contract in whole or in part.
The University reserves the right to annul the tendering process and not award any contract.
All documents to be priced in GBP and all payments made in GBP.
