Sir y Fflint sy’n gyfrifol am oruchwylio Dysgu Oedolion yn y Gymuned (DOGym) yn Sir y Fflint.
Mae Partneriaeth DOGym Sir y Fflint yn ceision i gefnogi strategaeth Llywodraeth Cymru drwy gynnig ystod amrywiol o gyrsiau i ddarparu hyfforddiant hanfodol sy’n gysyltiedig â
sgiliau a chyflogaeth.
Mae’r bartneriaeth yn ceisio penodi darparwyr i gyflawni drwy dri chontract penodedig ac sy’n gallu darparu ystod o wasanaethau i oedolion. Mae’r rhain yn cynnwys:
• cefnogi’r rhai sy’n cymryd y camau cyntaf i ddysgu
• darparu sgiliau ar gyfer bywyd ac ymgorffori sgiliau sylfaenol
• darparu sgiliau ar gyfer byw’n annibynnol a sgiliau ar gyfer gwaith
• cyfrannu i ddatblygiad personol a lles, a
• datblygu dinasyddiaeth weithredol (Llywodraeth Cymru, 2016)
Background/Context
Flintshire is responsible for overseeing Adult Community Learning (ACL) in Flintshire.
Flintshire’s ACL Partnership seeks to support Welsh Government’s ACL strategy by offering a diverse range of courses to deliver Essential Skills and employment related training.
The partnership seeks to appoint providers to deliver through three specified contracts and who are able to provide a range of services to adults. These include:
• supporting those taking the first steps into learning
• providing skills for life and embedding basic skills
• providing skills for independent living and skills for work
• contributing to personal development and wellbeing, and
• developing active citizenship. (Welsh Government, 2016)
