Framework Agreement for the Hire of Vehicles, Plant and Drivers For Snowclearing and Gritting

Description of the goods or services required

This contract is for the hire of vehicles, plant and drivers in connection with snowclearing and frost gritting works (including snowclearing and salt spreading) on roads in the County of Flintshire.

The snowploughing Contractor will be supplied with a snowplough blade, adapted to fit his vehicle at the Council’s expense. The Contractor will be responsible for storing the snowplough and attaching it to the vehicle on each occasion it is required for use, and the expense of doing so shall be deemed to be covered by the rates of hire quoted.
