Implementing the Landscape Habitats Monitoring Amendments

Description of the goods or services required

This specification outlines the stages required to implement the changes and update the LANDMAP Landscape Habitats resource. A separate specification will be let to implement the quality assurance work required to underpin this.

The stages of work required are:

i. Preparation of additional information, where necessary, to enable survey completion and updating:

ii. Familiarisation with LANDMAP portal

iii. Updating of aspect area surveys as per the change report tables using LANDMAP portal

iv. Updating of aspect area boundaries using the all Wales LANDMAP Landscape Habitats GIS layer

v. A list of LANDMAP Landscape Habitats survey unique identifiers NOT being amended

Total quantity or scope of tender

We will be awarding a contract to complete the stages required to implement the changes and update the LANDMAP Landscape Habitats resource to the all Wales dataset* (*excluding the 6 SW authorities completed in 2013 Caerphilly, Bridgend, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Blaenau Gwent, Merthyr Tydfil, Torfaen).

Our intention is to award this contract for a period of five months.

The total value of this contract over the entire period including any extension options will be in the region of 25-30k.
