The Design of Replacement Building Services at Plas Newydd, Anglesey.

Description of the goods or services required

The National Trust has allocated funding to appoint external consultants to consider the feasibility, initial design and installation sequence of the renewal of building services, such as; internal electrical circuits, heating system zoning and controls to achieve comfort and conservation heating needs, replacement of the security intruder system and further improvements to the fire detection system.

The National Trust wishes to seek expressions of interest from appropriately qualified, and experienced architectural consultant, able to provide the services of a multi-disciplinary team of professional designers. The appointed architectural consultant will be an addition to the project team and will be expected to collaborate with the Trust’s Advisers, Property Staff, Conservation Housekeeping Team, Conservators, Project Team, Donor Family and National Trust Visitors and other stakeholders.

Participating organizations must complete the SQuID Questions(Pre-Qualification) The National Trust will evaluate SQuID responses and accompanying information, and then prepare an appropriate shortlist of organizations who will be invited to submit fee proposals for the project.
