Refurbishment of Existing Hockey Artificial Turf Pitch at Parc Eirias

Description of the goods or services required

Conwy County Borough Council is seeking to appoint a suitable Contractor to refurbish the existing hockey artificial turf pitch (ATP) facility at Parc Eirias.

A summary of the contract requirements include:

Removal of the existing hockey ATP playing surface and underlays.

Groundworks associated with the short extension in length to the hockey ATP facility.

Supply, deliver and install new shock-pad underlay that complies with sporting body requirements.

Supply, deliver and install a new hockey ATP playing surface that complies with sporting body requirements.

Supply, deliver and install additional new fencing to accommodate the short extension of the facility.

Removal and disposal of waste materials off-site in an environmentally sound manner.

All items will need to comply with the International Hockey Federation’s (FIH) technical guidance and current standards.
