Abstract

Contract Award Notice. The contract consisted of the upgrade to the Active Travel Route PBWR03B from a footpath (away from a road) to a 3m wide shared foot/cycle path. It also provided a new link to the PBWR03A route which includes Llanrhos Road and Derwen lane. The Phase 1 tender considered the section of path from its junction with Llanrhos Road for a distance of 350 metres northwards. A new 2m wide (minimum) footway was also constructed on Llanrhos Road to link residents of Llanrhos Road and Marine Terrace to the new shared foot/cycle path link. A new street lighting system was installed as part of the works.
