II.1.4) Short description
The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (C&V UHB) are looking to implement a contract for maintenance, inspection and testing of Building Energy Management System (BEMS).
Maintenance, inspection and testing will be provided for all 337 outstations and their associated 18,225 control/monitoring points throughout CAV UHB. This contract will provide a support service for the BEMS to maintain, monitor and update the operating system which observes hospital energy use.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement
Maintenance, inspection and testing will be provided for all 337 outstations and their associated 18,225 control/monitoring points throughout CAV UHB.
BEMS Systems on all sites is Sigma. The UHB has started upgrade programme, replacing Sigma system with Struxureware but the replacement programme is carried out only as and when parts begin to fail.
Due to the type of the system in place any awarded contractor must be fully conversant with a Schneider ‘SIGMA’ operating system including any updates and programming of the system.
