Abstract

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust and on behalf of Powys Teaching Health Board are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to facilitate the refurbishment and remodelling of an existing ward space to create a new dedicated hospice facility within the hospital building. The works also include refurbishment of part of the Therapies area and Laundry room. A new glazed link corridor is proposed as part of the hospice facility which is to be priced separately for the purpose of this tender. The full extent of the works required are outlined within the tender documents. The tender will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender based on 70% cost and 30% technical as detailed in the ITT document.
