Abstract
Powys County Council sought to appoint the Principal Contractor for the development of 22 social houses, comprising of eight semi-detached houses, two semi-detached dormer bungalows and 12 semi-detached houses. The land is located on a former livestock market on Gorn Road, Llanidloes, SY18 6DE.
The development will utilise a timber frame solution in line with the Council's Wood Encouragement Policy, and it is expected the dwellings will be insulated to a level 16% above normal building regulations to help combat fuel poverty.
