Framework operation description
Appointment to the Framework does not guarantee that Contractor(s) will receive any Call-Off Contracts, nor does it guarantee any minimum volume or value of Services. Trydan may procure services covered by the Framework from other contractors where permitted.
Call-Off Contracts may be awarded by Trydan using one of the following methods:
Mini-competition: By default, Trydan may run a mini-competition between Contractors appointed to the relevant lot of the Framework. Contractors invited to participate will be asked to submit a proposal in response to a Request for Proposal (“RfP”), setting out how they will deliver the Services for the specific requirement.
Direct award: Trydan may, at its discretion, award a Call-Off Contract directly to a Contractor appointed to the Framework without running a mini-competition. This may include for any of the following reasons:
the requirement is urgent; or
Trydan considers that a direct award is necessary to ensure continuity or consistency of services, or where a particular Contractor has the relevant experience, expertise, or capacity required for the Services.
