Works to Charlotte Road at junction with Conway Road (A470).
Provide Traffic Management throughout the Works. Remove road markings as required. Lay new high grip surface to roads, lay new road markings.
To remove existing pedestrian crossing complete, including remove and reforming of raised kerbs, removal of tactile paving and reforming of pavement areas on Charlotte Road, Conway Road and central island. Lay new pavement areas tied into existing adjoining surfaces.
To locate existing and to lay new duct works including excavations and reinstatement works.
To form new Pelican crossing complete with new combined street lights and belisha beacon lights with new light and lighting columns, including all controls, control and service boxes, drop kerbs, road markings and reinstatement works.
To remove, alter and replace traffic signage on new light columns, carry out all service connections. To resequencing of the traffic signalling system on Conway Road.
To remove existing pedestrian barrier to island at junction and to remove pedestrian barriers as required and install salvaged and new pedestrian barriers to edge of pavements on Charlotte Road and Conway Road. To form new road markings (traffic Box) on Conway Road.
To form new road markings for (give way) at junction of Charlotte Road onto Conway Road.
To alter and extend tactile paving to existing pedestrian crossing on Conway Road.
To install new light column and signage to Central reservation on Conway Road.
To install temporary signage for new pedestrian crossing. The sign is to be removed 90 days after the works have been completed, including reinstatement works.
The above works is to include for all works required within the Works Information.
To provide Principal Designer Duties and Principal Contractor Duties.
Work to be carried out by others.
Changing of signalling sequences of traffic lights to be programmed and managed by the Principal Contractor for Charlotte Road Junction lights with Conway Road.
General
Where Contractor proposals are to be submitted. The Contractor proposals are to be submitted with the Tender submission.
Provision of O & M Manuals and Health and Safety File.
Provision of full photographic records of all works in phases and prior to covering up.Provision of all Daily Labour, Materials and Plant Returns.
