Abstract

The Medicines Discovery Institute is finalising the setup of its new laboratories based on the ground floor of the main building, park place, Cardiff. As part of this project there is a requirement for new scientific equipment to support the activities of the new research institute. The biology laboratories have been fully refurbished and as part of this tender, we would require delivery of part of the equipment to the facility. The equipment has been split into 4 lots: • Lot 1 – Real-time quantitative PCR system • Lot 2 – Protein crystallisation equipment • Lot 3 – Crystallisation storage incubator • Lot 4 - Crystallisation microscopes and camera
