3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The minimum requirements of the tender are as follows:

- Constructionline Silver registration with work categories and category values relevant to the subject matter of the contract.

- CHAS Registration or any full equivalent under SSIP.

- Provide copies of full audited accounts, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheet, for the most recently completed financial year to be assessed as described within the tender documentation.

- Insurances are required as follows:

- Public & Product Liability Insurance - £10,000,000.

- Employers Liability Insurance - £10,000,000

- Professional Indemnity Insurance - £10,000,000 per claim

- Acceptance of the NEC3 Contract Data Part 1 & 2 (as found under Appendix 5 in the Attachments Area of the Portal).

- Tenderers are also asked to confirm that they given their acceptance to provide the following;

- a Performance Bond (equal to not less than 10% of the total contract value) as detailed in Appendix 14 in the Attachments Area of the Portal

- payment of sub-contractors via a Project Bank Account (PBA)

Any Tenderers who fail to meet the minimum requirements will have their tender response rejected and not further evaluated by the Council.

3. Responding to the tender
