This Invitation to Tender relates to the requirement for a Contract for the supply and installation of LED lanterns within the City of Cardiff as set out in the tender documentation.

Tenders are to be submitted via the Proactis portal. The submission deadline is: 12:00 (Noon) on Friday 29th January 2021. Any tenders received after that deadline will not be accepted; tenderers should therefore allow sufficient time to submit their Tender.

Clarifications are also to be submitted via the Proactis portal. Clarification deadline is no later than close of business on Wednesday 30th December 2020.

The Council reserves the right to cancel the tender process at any time. The Council is not liable for any costs resulting from any cancellation / delay in this tender process or for any other costs incurred by those tendering for this Contract.

The Contractor shall ensure that all contracts with Subcontractors and Suppliers which the Contractor intends to procure following the Award date, and which the Contractor has not, before the date of this Contract, already planned to award to a particular Subcontractor or Supplier, are advertised through the Sell2Wales portal (www.sell2wales.gov.wales) and awarded following a fair, open, transparent and competitive process proportionate to the nature and value of the contract.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives.
