Abstract
Minesto is developing a 500kW tidal power plant in form of a “flying” kite tethered to the sea floor.
The kite will be attached to the bottom joint via a tether. The tether is comprised of a poly-urethane fairing enclosing a fiber load-carrier, power cables, optical fiber and signal cables. All cables and load carriers shall be fed through the fairing.

Description of the goods or services required
