Description of the contract
Menter Môn cyf, on behalf of the LEADER 2014-2020 Programme in Gwynedd and Anglesey wish to invite organisations to tender for a framework agreement for written translation services from Welsh to English and English to Welsh over a one year period. The LEADER 2014-2020 Programme in Gwynedd and Anglesey is being delivered by Menter Môn and financed through the Rural Development Plan for Wales as part of the Welsh Government and European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
Menter Môn is tendering for a framework agreement for translation services which consists of two separate elements:
1) Written translation (Lot 1)
Written translation of letters, documents, reports, minutes, marketing materials, guidelines and policies, training materials, workshop materials and web content. Digital copies of translation work sent via email will be required.
2) Simultaneous translation (Lot 2)
Simultaneous translation at a variety of events and meetings across Gwynedd and Anglesey consisting of conferences, Local Action Group meetings, workshops and meetings with community groups. Estimated audience sizes range from 6 to 50 members.
We are seeking a limited number of suppliers (a maximum of 6 per lot) to form a framework of suppliers for translation services for a number of activities. The duration of the framework agreement will be one year, and following the one year period the framework will be reviewed and re-published on sell2wales; at which point Menter Môn will invite both new and existing suppliers to apply to be included on the supplier framework.
Suppliers who form part of this framework will be offered translation work by Menter Môn as the need arises and the work will be on a project/projects basis as required.
