Abstract
Denbighshire County Council wish to appoint a Contractor to undertake a programme of Surface dressing works and Cold Applied ultra-thin surfacing works in accordance with Clause 922 and 923 respectively of the Specification for Highway Works.
The successful supplier must be fully qualified and competent to undertake both types of treatment. Suppliers not able to carry out both types of treatment will not be considered.
The contract will be 1 year with the option to extend for a further 4 years on an annual basis. I anticipate the Contract to be awarded on the 1st April 2020 or soon afterwards.
The expected value of works per year will be approximately £400k however this will be clearly dependent on sufficient funding being available over the 5 year period.
