The Cardiff and Vale Health Board’s current maintenance contract is due to expire on the 28th February 2018. The IBM Cognos Business Intelligence system is critical to the Information Management & Technology Department at Cardiff and Vale Health Board who are tasked with supplying patient information and organizational data to senior managers and clinicians. The information involves a large array of data
including referral time data, waiting time lists, and treatment information for analysis of hospital performance. No other suppliers are able to provide this service within the market as it is specific to the existing systems.
