Life Sciences Hub Wales seeks to procure a HR Support Service provider (the successful Supplier) to provide effective support in the delivery of its 2019-2025 Business Plan.

Life Sciences Hub Wales seeks to procure a comprehensive HR Support Service that provides the following activities:

The provision of advice and assistance in the development, implementation, regular review and team training of internal company policies and practices in relation to HR and Employment matters;

The provision of advice and assistance in the management, execution and oversight of recruitment and selection processes to include production of job descriptions, shortlisting candidates, on-site interview support (interviews/assessment centres / psychometric tests);

The provision of advice and assistance in the management, execution and oversight of all HR and Employment matters including but not limited to redundancy, sickness absence, performance review, job evaluations, pay reviews and other such matters;

HR advice and mentoring in support of day-to-day people matters to maintain a motivated team and resolve employment issues or disputes fairly and swiftly;

The provision of advice and assistance in the management, execution and oversight of internal employment disputes including grievance and disciplinary matters; and

The provision of essential training and development to the Life Sciences Hub Wales employees and Board members in respect to HR and Employment responsibilities.

Total quantity or scope of tender

There will be no minimum or maximum number of applicable hours required or set within this service agreement due to the irregular nature of the service to be provided. However, Life Sciences Hub Wales reserves the right to establish and agree with the successful Supplier a maximum number of applicable hours for each interaction as defined within the scope of this agreement.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

The successful Supplier must ensure that all of its staff engaged to provide HR Support Services to Life Sciences Hub Wales are CIPD qualified / appropriately qualified.

The successful Supplier must have information and/or cyber security certification in place, preferably Cyber Essentials Plus (or an equivalent).
