Abstract

The provision of specialist validation services for the Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) Programme. Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) is a programme of transformational change to Pharmacy Technical Services within NHS Wales, including participation by all the Health Boards and Trusts. Part of that programme is a £65m investment in 3 new regional medicines preparation facilities. The South East Wales Hub Project sits within the TRAMS programme and aims to deliver a £25m investment in a medicines preparation hub, including regional service to South East Wales as well as certain national capabilities. This project is currently planned to run from April 2021 – March 2024, handing over a fully commissioned and appropriately regulatory licensed hub to the service at the end of that time.

Description of the goods or services required

The provision of specialist validation services for the Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) Programme.
