Abstract
The provision of specialist validation services for the Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) Programme.
Transforming Access to Medicines (TRAMS) is a programme of transformational change to Pharmacy Technical Services within NHS Wales, including participation by all the Health Boards and Trusts. Part of that programme is a £65m investment in 3 new regional medicines preparation facilities.
The South East Wales Hub Project sits within the TRAMS programme and aims to deliver a £25m investment in a medicines preparation hub, including regional service to South East Wales as well as certain national capabilities. This project is currently planned to run from April 2021 – March 2024, handing over a fully commissioned and appropriately regulatory licensed hub to the service at the end of that time.
