Abstract

The project involved carrying out remedial works to the subsiding carriageway, located on the A470 Royal Welsh Way. The works included but not limited to: • Excavation of the existing carriageway, verge and embankment. • Removing existing carriageway and drainage. • Installation of kerbs. • Installation of a new full construction carriageway. • Installation of new drainage. • Apply thermoplastic road markings. • Vegetation clearance The works are located on the southbound lane between the A470/Gloddaeth Lane roundabout and the A470/Marl Lane roundabout, approximately 250m north of the access to Bodysgallen Hall. A470 Royal Welsh Way Subsidence

2.2 Description of the contract
