Design, Provision, Erection and Dismantling of Christmas Lights, Brecon 2018-2020 inclusive

Description of the goods or services required

Brecon Town Council are seeking tenders from professional companies who can deliver an exceptional value for money service in respect of design, provision, testing, erection and dismantling, storage and support of hired Christmas lights and decorations for the three years 2018, 2019, 2020 to include provision of the lights on a hired basis. Tenders should also include delivery, testing, build and dismantle time, and transport costs, with the design and extent of the lights being varied during the 3 year period. All lights to be 'warm white'. Proposals must be compliant with the Powys County Council's adopted Code of Practice for the Installation, Operation and Removal of Seasonal Decorations or equivalent standards and must also meet all necessary statutory requirements including, but not limited to, the provisions of the Highways Act 1980. The budget has been set at a maximum of £25,000 exc VAT per annum for the project with up to a further £5,000 exc VAT available for the provision of all related infrastructure works if required in the first year of the three year term.
