Abstract

The Brecon Beacons National Park Authority (BBNPA) is seeking a contractor to deliver the visitor experience improvements/interpretation element of the Explosive Times project that aims to preserve and celebrate the former Glyn-neath Gunpowder Works. The project is funded by the BBNPA, Heritage Lottery Fund, Natural Resources Wales and Beacons Trust. Summary of outputs to be delivered in this brief: • Create pre-visit and on site mapping. • Design logo and design template for the project. • Directional, arrival and orientation signage. • Way marking. • Creating a sense of arrival at the village hall. • Installation of places to ponder, interpretative stops. • Creation of a digital tour. • Reconstruction illustration to support above projects.
