An opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, highly motivated and skilled individual to work with Monmouthshire County Council to review the current provision of Events and recommend a new approach to future event delivery that will enshrine due diligence, good governance and detail a full appraisal of all available options to inform a Forward Strategy.

Total quantity or scope of tender
Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) have delivered a variety of events from medium to major events over a period of the last two and a half years. The events have been mostly held at Caldicot Castle and Country Park although other events have been delivered at other venues. Whilst these have been received well by community and attracted thousands of visitors MCC need to look at options for the delivery of these events over future years. In terms of scale, during the summer 2017 period, the events team delivered five major events at Caldicot Castle which included Little Mix and Only Men Aloud.
An indicative budget has not been set to enable the Authority to test the market, a fixed fee proposal will be required for undertaking this package of work.
