Abstract

The main aim of this contract is to develop a place based set of proposals or a “blueprint” to enable Public Services Boards (the PSB) to address a key challenge identified in Torfaen’s well-being assessment. The project will explore how innovative, intelligent, integrated and inter-linked technologies, systems and processes can: i) Support “healthy lifestyle behaviours” in a defined community (a place-based approach). ii) Enable public services to develop more effective approaches to best support this objective i.e. supporting “how” public services work, in particular addressing the difficulties of exemplifying and operationalising the 5 ways of working (preventative, long-term, collaborative, involving communities and integrated). iii) Incorporate read across to other objectives to add value and achieve multiple benefits arising from being and deploying smart
