Abstract

The council sought tenders for a Three Year Term Service Contract with the option to extend for an additional two years to include carriageway resurfacing works at multiple separate locations in the County Borough including resurfacing, repositioning / lifting of ironwork, road markings and all other advance preparation works including traffic safety management measures and logistics. All organisations that successfully passed all elements of the selection stage progressed onto the Award Stage. This stage was evaluated using the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) criterion based on 50% price and 50% quality evaluation.
